Organic food is often considered to be safer and of a better quality than is non-organic food. According to Home Grown Foods, products that are deemed organic are those that “have been grown and handled according to strict procedures without persistent toxic chemical inputs”. When you come across a product that is organic look for a sticker that says it is Certified Organic by QAI (QAI stands for Quality Assurance International). This lets you know that the product was put through a very stringent investigation before it reached the shelves in the store.
