by T Akery February 29th, 2012 | Kids' Shopping
When shopping on a budget, you need to consider pieces of clothing that are versatile and can be worn with just about anything. For girls, the black pants are one piece of clothing that fits the criteria. Black goes with practically everything. They don't show dirt. It is also one of those colors that never really goes out of style. For girls who abhor jeans, this is the one piece that they will actually wear. So, by adding a black pant to your list, you get a piece of clothing that is well worth the purchase price.

by Jane Wangersky February 28th, 2012 | Bargain of the Week
If you want to get a new winter coat while there's still some winter left -- as I write this, there's snow on the ground -- check out L.L. Bean's outerwear sale, which is going on now, online only and while quantities last.

Some items are going for less than half price, and/or over $100 off. For example, the men's Arrowsic parka is reduced from $450 to $199, and the women's Seaside jacket is marked down from $89 to $19.99. There's lots of kids' stuff too, though you may want to order it large for next year.

While growing up, I always thought of khakis as something to wear to formal events only, but the casual khaki is here, and more in style than ever before. A nice pair can anchor a casual outfit for class or a formal event with ease.

To do research for this article, I visited several

Perfect Birthday Gifts: Teenage Daughter

by Sam P. February 23rd, 2012 | Gift Ideas
Clothes, teenage girls love clothes.  The best stores are Aéropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and American Eagle.  Now when you factor in price, Aéropostale is the best store.  They have great clothes, and their prices are really good, considering A&F and Hollister charge you $120 for a nice jacket or a ruffly tank top.  Sure their clothes are incredibly cute, but so not worth the money.  Delia's and Charlotte Rousse are pretty good too.

Now that we have one specific store in mind, we can specify.  The bikinis at Aéro are great, and when on sale, (which they normally are)
