office wear (400x400)Bored with your work wardrobe?  No need to worry, as seasonal help is on the way!  Fabulous new warm weather clothing styles will certainly add some zest to your office look.  Give one or more of the following trendy items a try; you’ll feel rejuvenated and look ultra chic at the same time.

Flared Dresses

Hot…hot…hot!  These forgiving dresses make all women look their best.  Form fitting on the top, but flared at the hips, these little numbers minimize flaws while maximizing assets.  Choose a neon color or a floral design dress, then top with a white cardigan. Add a pair of flats, a statement necklace, and you’re ready to tackle a day at the office.

Here’s an example of a fit and flare dress by Calvin Klein; however, visit your local discount stores for great knock off versions that cost much less.

Wow in White

Another hot office wear trend is the white on white look.  White always looks fresh and airy.  Try a white linen jacket over a detailed eyelet dress.  Add kicky white heels and a dainty clutch to finish the look.  Or, try white capris with a white button up shirt, low heeled pumps, and roomy white handbag for Friday’s casual Day.

The Maxi Miracle

Plus sized women should take a serious look at the versatility of today’s maxi dresses. These easy and breezy dresses literally float against the body.  Always chic, and not too sexy, this type of dress stays wrinkle free all day long, meaning you’ll look just as good at 5:30 pm as you did at 7:00 am.  Add a sassy scarf and heels, and you’ll be ready for dinner with friends.

Check out colorful examples of maxis here.  Bold primary colors and geometric patterns are trending right now!

Pleasurable Pleats

Any piece of women’s clothing that features pleats will instantly add pizzazz to a work outfit.  There’s pretty pleated skirts in luxurious fabrics and colors.  Try a trending color, such as violet or orange crush.  Or maybe a pleated blouse in crisp cotton is more to your liking.  Always dressy, but not fussy, today’s pleats retain their shape with little care.  (Usually no ironing needed!)

Check out this darling pin tuck top.  It would be great under a casual blazer or 3/4 sleeve cardigan.

Ankle Skimming Pants

This season’s dress slacks feature a cool length: ankle skimming.  Instead of last year’s fixation on  capris, now one can wear this becoming length to work as well.  Invest in several basic colors, such as black, navy, and white, then top with one of today’s modern shirts, including the flutter sleeve or high low styles.  Finish the look with flats, and you’re instantly on top of your game.

A woman’s work wardrobe has a tendency to become stale; however, by infusing seasonal items, it will be transformed back into being relevant.  Try one of the trending styles listed above, and look chic at work NOW.
