Accessories You Can’t Live Without

umbrella in the rain (400x400)In order to save money, some women forgo buying items they classify as luxuries.  As a result, their quality of life suffers.  This is true even when it comes to fashion accessories.  The good news is that several accessories don’t have to cost a lot.  In fact, the following must-have accessories can be purchased for under $25!

First and foremost, you MUST own an umbrella.  This handy accessory protects you from the rain, wind, and sun.  Holding your bag or a purse over your head in the rain simply does not offer enough protection from the elements.

If you have been putting off buying an umbrella, rethink your decision.  An umbrella doesn’t have to cost a lot, and the service it provides is indispensable.  For instance, one can purchase a Totes bubble umbrella from Kohl’s Department Store for under $20.  This beauty will  save your hair and outfit from certain upheaval many times over!

Another accessory to buy now, especially if you live in an area of the country that experiences harsh winters, is a luxurious scarf and hat set.  Some women try to save money by buying only gloves or mittens to protect their hands.  This is a mistake, as they are leaving their necks and heads exposed to frigid temperatures.

Just like umbrellas, these scarf/hat sets greatly improve a woman’s comfort level.  It’s true.  Much of a human’s body heat escapes through the head.  Vow to keep this area covered, and you will be able to tolerate winter’s chill a lot better.

Check out this awesome chenille hat and scarf set from JC Penny’s available for $21. The pair looks classy enough to be worn with your best dress coat, but they would also be equally as pretty if paired with a parka.

A final accessory that you shouldn’t put off investing in – a good belt.  I was guilty of forgoing a belt for years.  I viewed this accessory as frivolous.  Big mistake.  Little did I know how much more comfortable wearing slacks could be – if I wasn’t pulling them up all the time.

From the moment I used my new black belt for the first time, I regretted not buying one sooner.  If you’ve been living without the benefits provided by a belt, buy one as soon as you can.  You’ll marvel at how much more “put together” you will feel.

Follow this link to a darling faux leather belt, one available at a great price: $6.90.

As these examples prove, sometimes one needs to spend a little money to improve her quality of life.  Never hesitate when it comes to purchasing an umbrella, a hat/scarf set, or a belt.  You DESERVE these fun and practical accessories.
