picAre you looking for a way to expand your wardrobe on a budget? You don’t need to buy a whole bunch of clothes to revamp your style, just buy a few new accessories to expand your style options. Accessories like bags, shoes, and jewelry give a new look to whatever you are wearing. You could wear the same dress, but you can create different looks and styles with accessories. This is where you can get creative with your budget: simply buy accessories every few months to keep your wardrobe current and stylish. Here are some of my favorite places to stock up on affordable accessories.

Most people buy new shoes every season or two, so why not save on sandals or boots that you’ll only wear for four months of the year? Payless Shoe Source is a great place to find affordable footwear, not only for yourself, but your family, too. They sell a mix of your basic footwear, athletic and trendy designer shoes for less than $30. Old Navy is another source for fabulous trendy shoes.

Target is the place to buy fantastic handbags, fashion jewelry, and other accessories- you can find the cutest extras to mix and match with the clothes you already have. Unlike Wal-Mart or Kmart, Target sells a large variety of cute, trendy and classic accessories.

Another great place for uber-cheap accessories and handbags is Forever 21. You can find glam bags and clutches for nights out on the town for less than $5.

You never may have heard of this terrific online boutique called Pink Ice, but they’ve got a relatively good selection of stylish hats.

Are you looking for luxurious scarves and wraps? Spiegel has them at good prices.

Clothes are what you wear, but it is the accessories that make the outfit truly stylish.
