Whether you’re just starting your first job or you’re just wanting to revamp your everyday work wardrobe, there are a few key garments and accessories that are essential to almost every wardrobe — especially if you work inside an office. Read on further for a complete list of fashionable essentials that also happen to be perfect for the office!

1- A Dressy Suit

It could be a trendy pantsuit or a feminine skirt suit, but every work wardrobe needs at least one professional looking suit. Don’t be afraid to splurge a little because quality is everything, plus one nice suit will give you endless options as you can work the jacket and pants (or skirt) with everything you own.

2- A Classic Cardigan

A cardigan sweater looks chic with button-down oxford blouses, silky tank tops, and elegant tees. Make sure that you get a simple fitted style rather than a loose trendy version.

3- Simple Black Heels

A simple pair of black pumps with a low-to-moderate heel and a round-toe design makes everything look polished and put-together.

4- A Pencil Skirt

Here is yet another classic garment that goes with everything. A simple houndstooth or tweed pencil skirt looks best when worn with a simple blouse or tank top that’s tucked in.

5- A Large Tote Bag

Modern life makes getting by on a little hard to do.  That is why most of us opt for large  bags. Go for a large black tote bag (that goes with everything) that was made from a durable material (genuine leather). Once again, this is an item you may have to end up paying more for, but you need something that is going to withstand a lot of wear-and-tear.
