For those of you who live in New England, you may know that we have been seeing nothing besides summer rain and thunderstorms for the past few weeks. This past Fourth of July weekend was a treat for sure; with the sun shining through the cloudless skies, I often heard people sarcastically and jokingly saying, “Whoa, what is that blue in the sky? Or how about that big shiny thing?” This weekend was a great weekend for people to whip out those summer dresses.
People have been wearing dresses all summer long even though the rain has dampened the mood to wear dresses, but they still have been sold at various stores. Do you know what the most common places to get a summer dress are? Well, if you do not know yet, here are ten suggestions.
If you are looking for a summer dress with spaghetti straps or ruffles, American Eagle is the place for you to shop. American Eagle has cute cotton and casual sundresses. Another place to check out is Ann Taylor LOFT; at the LOFT you will be able to find quality Ann Taylor dresses at affordable prices. Somewhere that may surprise you as a good place to get a dress is BJ’s Wholesale Club.
If you are a younger person, or someone who is young and fun at heart, you may want to check out Delia’s. Delia’s has modern prints and patterns, as well as modern styles. Overstock.com is also a great place to look for a dress, and here is a surprise for you, just kidding, but you may want to look into buying a dress from The Summer Dress Store!
Last, but certainly not least, my personal favorite place to go for anything that I need–Target. Target is a great place to go to as a first choice and a last resort. You are almost guaranteed to find what you want there and if you do not, well, you will probably still be walking out of that store with something in your hands.
Happy summer dress shopping!
