On March 26, 2010, Reitz Arena was packed by students, friends and family, as we watched the gorgeous and talented models of Loyola University rip the runway to the designs of local stores and designers.

As a borderline plus-size model, I walked in designs by K-Station. Designs are made specifically for women sizes 12 and up. The show featured eveningwear, summer dresses, and professional pieces that one could wear to work. Including designs from a local designer, we wore outfits from Forever21/Faith21. Speaking for myself, some outfits that I would recommend are (1) An emerald green tube romper that could be paired with a blue and emerald green flannel, (2) A soft and simple tube dress with white lacing across the chest area and then a gray material makes up the skirt. For ladies who are a little conscious about their shoulders, you can pair a really cute cropped, coral jacket.

Both of these outfits can be found at www.forever21.com and then ‘click’ Faith 21

As someone who is not a fan of Forever 21, I do believe that Faith21 has a lot of really cute options. Faith21 is very new and is restricted to about 30 stores in the United States. In the state of Maryland alone, I think there are only 2. Hopefully, as women come and check the styles that they offer, Faith21 will explode all over the United States. I’m going to be heading out soon to buy both of the outfits I just described above.

Happy Shopping!
