Fee-free Days at U.s. National Parks

by Jane Wangersky | April 10th, 2012 | Bargains of the Week

Several times throughout this year, over 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees are holding fee-free days. The next occasion is coming up soon, from April 21st to 29th — National Park Week.

After that, remaining fee-free days are June 9th (Get Outdoors Day), September 29th (National Public Lands Day), and one holiday you’ve actually heard of, Veterans Day Weekend (November 10th through 12th).

The National Park Service also reminds us that lots of parks never charge an entrance fee. Learn more at the NPS site.
