Fun Fall Activewear

girl on workout ball (400x400)I feel as though active wear is becoming easier and easier to find.  At first it was a thing you could only find from Nike or Under Armor.  And then I discovered Eastbay, and I was able to find just about everything I needed online from one website.  They don’t have as many name brand products but their products are great and a bit cheaper.  Of course I always find it best to buy my spandex from Nike, because, and I believe I have already said this, I am a Nike girl.

But for the longest time it was impossible to find active wear in stores.  Of course, there is always Sports Authority and those stores, but I cannot explain to you how small the woman’s section is there.  And half the time they aren’t even real athletic gear.  Lately, however, active wear is becoming more popular.

If you are looking for a splurge I suggest Pink or Victoria Secret.  It may be a bit of a budget buster, but if you want that name brand they’re a good choice.  They’re cheaper than some other brands, and their quality is still good.  They are full of cute patterns, tops, and comfy sweatshirts.  If you’re going to shop online, go with Victoria Secret, however, if you are going to be in store, feel free to roam.  It is quite difficult to find active wear online for Pink, but in store they have it.

If you are looking for a middle of the road buy, Nike and other brands work.  Now I am accustomed to Nike, but Adidas and Under Armor are great brands as well.  When it comes to spandex I highly recommend Nike.  They are of the best quality and they ride up the least.  And when it comes to shoes, I am Nike or bust, but many of my friends wear brands like Adidas and Asics.  In fact I have a couple old pairs myself.

If you’re looking for something a tad cheaper than a name brand, but not of cheap quality, I highly recommend Old Navy.  They have everything from leggings, to cute tops, to sports bras.  The price isn’t the cheapest, but it is still on the more affordable side while being cute, comfy, and of good quality.  I got running leggings for the price of a pair of Nike spandex there.

If this is still too pricy for you, or you just need a super quick and cheap pair of running shorts on the fly, hit up TJ Maxx or Marshalls.  I don’t think I have ever been in and not seen active wear at a fantastic price.  It may not be the fabulous name brands like Nike or Under Armor, but hey, workout clothes are workout clothes.  They may not be of the best quality, but you can certainly get decent life out of them.
