There are many people with good hearts that want to give to charity, but they feel that they can’t afford it because of hard economic times. There is a way to feel great about giving to the less fortunate and not have to worry about your bank account. Follow the tips below to head on a path toward blissful giving – cost free!

1) Buy one, give one: If you don’t need two of an item that is BOGO at a local store– buy one for yourself and donate the “free” one.

2) Donate items that you no longer use but are still useful– many local fire stations, churches, and synagogues are accepting donations to be sent to Haiti.
