Last week Jodi told us how to buy one and donate one, as well as where to donate usable items we no longer find useful. This week consider using coupons to “give back.”
Rather than donating money, consider pooling your coupon resources with your neighbors, friends, school, scouting troop, church or synagogue. Use the skills that you’ve learned here, and gather up coupons and use the coupon matchups to purchase items that are non-perishable or medical in nature – rather than sending $100 in cash, you might be able to spend $100 yet purchase $500 or even $1000 dollars worth of goods.
Check back next week for more ways to give.
