1- Peplum Skirts

Peplum skirts are haute right now and fortunately, this is a trend you can easily wear to work! Ideally, you’ll choose a simple style in a classic color like navy blue, black, or gray. Pair this skirt with basic oxford blouses, crisp cardigans, trendy sweaters, or jewel-toned tops. If you work in a more creative office, you might be able to get away wearing a cotton tee shirt, otherwise you should cover up with a preppy open cardigan or simple blazer. This peplum trend also extends to tops and dresses. Always opt for styles in classic colors that will work with just about everything.

2- Emerald Green

Brighten up your entire look with emerald. This color was all over the runway this season and it’s big for a reason. You can make this look work for you by choosing one green garment and working with it. Pair a green cotton tee skirt with a pair of black pinstripe pants. Add a solid colored scarf and loosely tie it around the neck for a professional but chic look. Alternatively, you could add an emerald green blazer to the mix. Pair this key piece with a printed frock or black turtleneck and dark jeans. Emerald green is the color to rock this fall.

3- Velvet Fabrics

Velvet is a fall style staple. This rich fabric looks great for tops, skirts, suits, pants, dresses, and blazers. You don’t need to invest in a complete velvet wardrobe this season to appreciate all the style possibilities this trend offers. Instead, you should invest in one amazing velvet piece and work it into the rest of your wardrobe. For instance, a velvet skirt with everything from classic oxford blouses to colorful sweaters to fitted blazers. Velvet is a fabulous fabric that makes everything seem more luxurious.
