woman swimming (400x400)With summer in full swing, some of you may still be searching for the perfect bathing suit. After all, not everyone is comfortable in the itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini. If you’re looking for something a little more modest (or just need a little more coverage), you’re in luck! Swimsuits are on sale now, and there are plenty of fashionable, modest choices available. Here are our top picks.

Striped Push-Up Halterkini and Boy Shorts

Kohl’s has a wonderful selection of tankinis, halterkinis, boy shorts and more. The push-up halterkini featured here is normally $32, but now rings in at a much more affordable $15.99. It comes in watermelon or blue violet, and the top ties behind the neck. The push-up design offers more support than others of a similar style. Pair the watermelon top with these solid boyshorts in the same color, and you have a stylish swimsuit with better coverage. The bottoms are also priced at $15.99, down from $28.

Robby Len Floral Print Empire-Waist Swim Dress

If you’re in search of one-piece swimwear, try this swim dress from JC Penney on for size. It comes in sizes 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18, and has a very figure-flattering design. It only comes in the black and white pattern, but other swim dresses are available through this retailer if you’d like other color options. This particular swim dress gets rave reviews for the lightweight, fast-drying design, comfortable fit and slimming design.

Women’s Plus Ruched Control Max Swimsuit

Old Navy’s plus-size swimsuits are even more affordable now. They’re regularly priced at $59.94, but you can get 20% off through 6/25 by using the code SAVE. That puts this swimsuit at around $48. We love the royal flush design (blue with white polka dots), but the swimsuit also comes in ebony and stop light nylon (hot pink). The reviews say that the suit is low in the back and doesn’t offer much support in the breast area, so be aware that a strapless bra won’t work with the low-back design.

Clean Water Women’s Swim Dress

For a shorter swim dress that shows off the legs while covering problem areas on the hips and tummy, try this swimsuit from Target. The price is right at $39.99, and you can save an additional 5% and get free shipping with a REDcard. Save even more if you need a couple of swimsuits because all clothing (including swimear) is BOGO 50% off. We love the turquoise ink color in this particular style. You can also get a similarly styled pink swim dress for the same price.
