It can be difficult to find good plus-size jeans. They’re either too tight to be comfortable, or if they are comfortable, they’re too stretchy and end up sagging within a couple of hours of wearing them. What’s even more frustrating is that it’s difficult to find an affordable pair of jeans that doesn’t look cheap. Here we are to the rescue! All of these jeans are around $50 or less. I know, I know. That’s not exactly a bargain price, but it is when you consider that these will last much longer than the cheap brands at discount stores.
Torrid White Label Relaxed Boot Jean
Torrid is one of my favorite places for clothes, and these jeans are super comfortable and cute. They have a light wash and some destruction to make them look like your old, favorite pair of jeans right from the start. Right now they’re priced at $48.48 and everything in the store is BOGO $5 (buy one, get one for $5). If you need a couple pairs of jeans, this is the way to go. Ladies, these are available in “short” length—a rare find!
Vintage America The Weekend Jeans
You can find these jeans at Lord and Taylor for $48.65. Personally, I prefer Bayou Blue, but you’ll have to head to your local store because they’re out of stock in plus sizes online. However, they still have the blue (which is more white in color) in stock in sizes 12, 14 and 16. The jeans are distressed with a folded cuff, making them perfect for walking on the beach and getting your toes wet in the sand.
Women’s Plus The Rockstar Boot-Cut Jeans
Old Navy is a little hit and miss on sizes—sometimes the jeans run big, and sometimes small. These in particular tend to run small, so consider ordering a size up. The dark color is fabulous and slimming, and the jeans come in short, regular and long to accommodate more sizes. They’re priced at $42 right now, and you can almost always find an Old Navy discount code to save a few extra bucks.
