The drab that is the switch from fall to winter can take a toll on your hair, not just the health of it but the way you style it. A fun way to spice up your look is with a few mini braids. There are a few options. One is to give yourself a couple corn rows. If you can Dutch braid it is preferable, but the look is just as great with a French braid. Start by giving yourself a deep side part. On the side with less hair give yourself one or two braids, doing a French or Dutch braid until just past your ear and then braiding normally the rest of the way down. Tie the braid off with a mini elastic and you are all set. It is a fun and edgy look that you will want to do every day. The other option if you can’t do a Dutch or French braid is to just add a few tight braids in throughout your hair. Grab a one inch maximum chunk of hair and braid from the roots to the ends. Keep the braid nice and tight. With some beachy waves this look is boho and chic. Just remember with the harsh cold weather to give your hair some deep conditioning treatment once every week or two.
