perfume (400x400)We all get into that situation where we want to put on a new color, but we don’t have any nail polish remover.  Of course the easiest thing to do would be to go out and get polish remover.  But let’s say its eleven at night and stores aren’t open.  Use perfume.  Anything that has alcohol as a main ingredient will work, but I find perfume the most effective, plus your hands smell good after.  It is much more difficult than typical nail polish remover, and it may require a bit more rubbing than normal, but it works quite well.  It is odd to think that what you spray on your body removes nail polish, almost scary to think about, but it is solely because of the high alcohol content.  Plain rubbing alcohol work well, as does mouthwash.  I find perfume the most attainable, and it doesn’t leave your hands a sticky mess.
