prom (400x400)Boutonnieres and corsages label a couple at prom.  The easiest way to keep them from breaking the bank is to use your own materials.  I don’t mean you have to make it on your own, but if you have extra material from your dress you can use it in your man’s boutonniere.  Keep it simple, a single white rose, or the flower of your preference, and a ribbon the color of your dress.  The same goes for the corsage.  If your date is tiny, use small flowers.  You don’t want the corsage looking too big on your wrist.  Incorporate either the trimmings of he dress from alterations or a ribbon the same color.  If her dress has some bling, you can add a little in it as well.  Little gems throughout the flowers looks better than spray, but thats my opinion.  I find spray usually goes on too heavy and can look a little tacky.
