It’s time to schedule a pedicure. If you haven’t been showing off your tootsies already, you’ll be doing it soon. Several stores have their wedge sandals on sale this week, so it’s the perfect time to stock up on a few pairs for spring and summer. Well-styled toes need fashionable (and bargain) sandals!
Wedges are a stylish alternative to stilettos. Also, if you find it difficult to walk in heels (as I do), wedges give you a more stable heel. You’ll still get the added height without all the wobbliness.
Without further ado, here are three pairs of wedge sandals for less than $30.
Mossimo Supply Co. Waneta Macramé Wedge Sandal
This Mossimo wedge sandal from Target comes in natural, black and gold. At $29.99, the Espadrille style is perfect for wearing with a pair of skinny jeans or a flirty skirt. According to the reviews, you may want to order half a size smaller since the macramé material tends to stretch a bit. Otherwise, you may find your foot slipping in the shoe when you walk.
Apt. 9 Slingback Wedge Sandals
If you’re close to a Kohl’s store, pop in to check out these Apt. 9 Slingback Wedge Sandals, or buy them online. They’re priced at $29.99 as well and come in five different colors: tan, fuschia, white, blue, black. Blue is a popular color this spring, but the white and black colors go with nearly anything. The shoe has a cutout design, peep toe style and a cute bow that goes across the tops of the toes. The 4-inch heel is much more manageable in this wedge style.
Women’s Thatcher Wedge Sling
Payless Shoe Stores is having a sale on all their wedge sandals, many styles for $14-$15 dollars, including this Thatcher Wedge Sling by Montego Bay Club. The shoe comes in bronze, nude and black and has a flirty, strappy design. It also has a 4-inch wedge on a 1-inch platform. The shoes are dressy enough to wear with a summer dress for an evening out but casual enough to pair with jeans. At $15 per pair, you may want to get more than one style.
