Winter is one of my favorite fashion seasons because there’s so much to wear. Leggings, jeans, sweaters, jackets, and coats. When I used to think of coats I thought of those hideous puffy, bubble coats our parents used to make us wear when we played out in the snow. As we grow older, we grow out of snow coats and into real coats. I recently got this new winter coat that I adore. It’s a deep forest green pea coat. My favorite thing about it is how thin it is. It still keeps me warm without adding on a bunch of bulk. This winter colors and oversized coats are all the rage. From pea coats to trench coats, being warm is totally in style. A friend of mine has a cream colored trench coat that I adore, but would never trust myself to own. I would brush up against a dirty car within the first thirty seconds of me putting it on and ruin it. Trench coats are great, but they prove some difficulty with school lockers. Pea coats are great for students because they are stylish and keep you warm, but still fit in your locker. Plus, they are flattering. They tend to tuck in at your waist to create an hour glass figure and end right at your hips which accents them as well.
