AbeBooks.comI have found a great site for all of the readers out there with a passion for books:  AbeBooks.com. AbeBooks is a site where you can order used books at extremely low costs and get your order in a very short amount of time. As long as you are not looking for a collector’s item, this site is perfect for just about any book. Yes, the books are used, but the quality is more often than not “just like new.” Besides, if a page or two is torn here and there, who really sees the difference?

My sister needed some books for school, so she decided to use AbeBooks. She ordered some hardcover textbooks that might have cost her 75+ dollars in a regular bookstore for a total of less than 25 dollars (this includes shipping and handling). She received them within a few days, and they were all in their respective promised conditions. (The condition of the book is displayed directly on the site, so you know exactly what you are ordering.) When buying textbooks for school, AbeBooks is a must. High school and college textbook prices are steep, but on AbeBooks you can find the same books for a fraction of the price. Does it even matter that another set of eyes has skimmed across the same pages? Even that is optimistic for some books, which probably have not seen much light at all (which is a plus for every buyer).

AbeBooks has a selection that is virtually unlimited. There are tens of millions of books, enough to more than satisfy an avid reader of any genre (or all genres). If you are looking for something new to read, AbeBooks provides bestseller lists and subject searches that can help you narrow down the choices to exactly what you like.

The next time you are shopping for some new reads, and you don’t mind if they are old books, use Abebooks.com. A good book never gets old.
