lipstickNow that the days are getting longer, many of us are extending our evenings by going straight from the office to dinner and drinks with friends. Since most of us don’t have the time to head home to completely change our office look into an evening look, we have to make the most of the outfit we’re already wearing by switching shoes and accessories. Read on for more tips and ideas on how you can successfully with minimal effort.

1- Store Heels in Bag

Carry a pair of elegant evening sandals in your purse, and you’ll be ready to switch your conservative round toe heels for sexier footwear in no time. Make sure that you take a large tote bag to store them in, and take turns with both pairs to make sure they fit in the bag. A great pair of shoes is sometimes all you need to transform your look.

2- Wear Fun Jewelry

If you’re lucky enough to work in an office that lets you get creative in your accessory choices, go ahead and put on a pair of chandelier earrings and stacked colorful bangles. Not only will you be ready for fun by the time you clock out, you’ll also feel the anticipation of fun every time you look at your jewelry.

3- A Pretty Tee or Blouse Underneath a Cardigan

Go ahead and wear that sparkly sequin tank top or pretty floral blouse, just add a professional looking cardigan sweater for work. By the time the day is done, you can remove your sweater, and place it in your bag.

4- Pack a Beauty Bag Beforehand

Changing your makeup in the office bathroom or car has never been easier. Simply fill a small cosmetics case with beauty essentials like colored lip gloss, black eyeliner, mascara, bold eyeshadow, concealer, and a small bottle of fragrance. Keep this bag in your car or tote bag, so you will be able to change your look in no time. Extra essentials you may want to tote include a small hairbrush, hairspray, and bobby pins. This will allow you to change your hair before dinner.
